  Unfortunately an absolute waste of my time. I arrived at 3:15pm and indicated I had a cheque to deposit and wanted to open 2 bank accounts for my children. Was advised to go to the teller and then wait on separate chairs. I did this and then at 3:46pm was approached by a staff member to advise that they can't set up the bank accounts today and an appt could be made. I asked why this couldn't have been told 30 minutes prior. She had no answer. I asked how I set up an appointment. She said she could organize this after she tends to other customers.. Customers that arrived approximately 20 minutes after me. An absolutely waste of time and I won't be returning. I had a bit of a nostalgic feeling as I had my first account with Commonwealth. My kids first accounts won't be through them. This could have all been resolved with clear communication at the start and advised that they wouldn't have sufficient time and to book an appointment then. BAD FORM

  You will find friendly staff with best customer service in this branch . I had chance to refinance my home loan after almost 1.5 year after I was with Westpac. Actually ,I switched my Mortgage from Westpac to Commonwealth bank to save money and get extra for renovation and this happen because of their professional advice specially from Home Lending Specialist (Shannon Pritchard). I am very happy about their service and I strongly recommend this branch specially if you are looking for home loan or refinancing .

  I was very happy with today's service provided by Fiona and her team at Commonwealth Bank Burpengary. Everyone was friendly and helpful,
  and got things done without much waiting at all. The whole process went very smoothly. Highly recommend!

  Myself and a frail aged man with an oxygen tank and a walking frame were greeted by an offline ATM at the branch minutes before closing. By the time I discovered the ATM being offline the time was 4:02pm. So I proceeded to walk the 2 metres to the bank doors and the doors opened and some people came out and someone who looked to be the manager was happily saying goodbye to them as he refused the disabled man and myself access to the branch. Absolutely pathetic customer service. And to think, I just started with this bank a few months ago and I am already about to close my accounts.
